I can't find what I need right now. If it wasn't the Chambers Street route it was another route but not the M23 crosstown if it had an X suffix.Brooklyn: I believe that the route you are referring to was the Yorkville-Wall Street Express. It is listed in the service guide of the 1974 Manhattan Bus Map as running between 91 Street/ York Avenue and Water Street. It is designated as the M23X. It does not appear on the front of the map but it is mentioned in the service guide. The 1976 Revision of the 1974 Map does show route on both the map and the service guide but its designation has been changed to X 23. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
