Here's what I posted yesterday about Gateway :Re: Gateway Mall Extension You're SOL if if you want the Site Drive or the Junction bound B83 @ Erskine. The Site Drive stops was apparently scrapped & the Erskine Street/Gateway Drive stop Junction bound is missing. Yet, you can track buses at these physically nonexistent stops [marquee]You both had one job each. Fucking D-minus DOT & MTA[/marquee] ------- What I want to say now: I must say the new side is very nice (despite the fact it started raining when I got there), it's a sharp contrast to the other side. That open space where the clock is, If the project is to plans, will be a walking path to go between Gateway I & II. However, I'm still going to say that nixing of the Site Drive stops was very disappointing. In fact, people are complaining that none of the routes are running inside the mall. Is it even possible to have any of the routes run inside? And, as I think more about this, this change basically brought a existing (and still a) problem to the other side. I was very lucky to have a B83 op know that a stop is supposed to be at Erskine back towards Starrett. Picked me up right before he turned. |
