Some of glide a rides were sold to amusement parks etc and I remember a pic of some of them and the escorters being junked on a flatbed. Like everything from the fair...things went waste with no thought of nostalgia or historic value.On Season #3 of A&E's American Restoration "Escorter Service", a surviving Glide-A Ride was restored to operating condition.
