Okay he was wrong, but there is another issue here. How many know that you have to make your right turn within 200 feet of entering the bus lane? None of the signs state that. All they say is Buses and Right Turns Only.I was under the impression that you must make the next available right turn. So how is anyone to know that on a 600 foot long block you must wait until the last 200 feet to get in the bus lane? If they are going to give tickets for traveling longer than 200 feet in a bus lane they need to post signs on every 600 foot block when it is permissable to enter the bus lane or mention the 200 feet on every bus lane sign. |
