Since the picture is of the north side of QB, there is a bar called The Excelsior in the picture. Sometime after the picture, but for as long as I can remember, it was the Merry-Go-Round Bar. They had a large circular bar with a motorized platform for patrons to sit on. It rotated very slowly (can't remember if it was clock or counter clock wise).Most have been a big Oops if one fell off the rotating bar stool and on to the floor. |
