Also, when patronage is light like at night, local buses skip many stops and are able to go at 30 mph as long as it doesn't put them ahead of schedule.The Bx1 is scheduled to be at Concourse & East 138th at 1:15 a.m. Sundays, and at Concourse & Fordham Road at 1:40 a.m., a distance of 4.5 miles. How is that bus going to hit 30 mph for any appreciable distance and remain on schedule? |
