Show me one instance where you walk more than 4 short blocks (equal to one-quarter of a mile) which would violate the MTA guidelines. Park Ave and East 34th Street already has a subway stop one block away, well within the 1/2 mile standard for subway stations.Wait, I give up - - let's have a better solution - - put a bus stop on every block along north-south streets in Manhattan. |
