A bus driver from Queens has been charged after police said at least four people were seriously hurt when the bus overturned on Interstate 95 in Virginia.

Qilonh Xiao, 50, of Flushing, was driving too fast for road conditions and was charged with reckless driving, Virginia State police spokeswoman Corinne Geller said.

The crash happened around 4 a.m. Monday in the southbound lanes between Stafford and Fredericksburg.

The Princess Tours Inc. bus left Brooklyn Sunday night and was en route to Doraville, Ga. at the time of the crash, Virginia State Police said.

The bus refueled before the accident in Woodbridge and had one more stop in Virginia before arriving in Georgia, police said.

Geller said 58 passengers were on the bus when it overturned on its side. All of the passengers were taken to area hospitals, but Geller said it appears only four suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The bus company was providing transportation for the stranded passengers, Geller said.

Xiao was held on $5,000 unsecured bond at Rappahannock Regional Jail in Stafford County.
