Station agents have a system that lets them see the history of any given MetroCard. If all passengers were required to make sure they keep the MetroCard they used for any given trip until that trip ends, and the Eagle Team was given the proper equipment, you can send them to any line you want -- though it is easier to just have random incognito police officers watch everyone who enters the bus, which I don't understand why there isn't more of. |
