I hope they write a good contract proposal that will attract serious candidates only. First Transit or Veolia could probably do a good job of running the Bee Line system if they took over, given the county's adequate funding of the operation. What I hope they don't get is a repeat of the mess over in Rockland where an operator with uncertain qualifications wins the bid. |
