D60HF ran pretty good with the EGR engines when I rode them, rode em a bunch of times on the BX12 SBS when they used them on that route and it was a fun ride.Its just that those EGR engines are horrible in the Orion Vs for some reason, I remember 581 - 610 were slow pokes, it seem to vary in the RTS's, I had one of my greatest bus rides ever on 8420, it had a EGR but it ran great, it was hauling ass uphill with a full load on the hill in Park Slope and it flew though Prospect Park. Had a another great ride on a repowered TMC on the Q35, which was funny as I expected the bus to trash but it ran great, I think it was 8393. |
