As I explained in another post, you can't do that. The MTA Bus hybrids were purchased using Federal funds and must be used on these services. 'Regional Bus' may oversee both NYCT and MTAB operations, but the FTA considers them separate and it is highly unlikely that they would allow those newer buses to be shifted elsewhere for other services and replaced with older buses. |
