I dunno...is it the type of hybrid technology (series vs parallel) that's really the issue here, where perhaps for MTA Bus they should've received parallel hybrid systems? It seems strange that there are so many issues with "high speed operation" for MTA yet other systems like WMATA, B-more MTA, and SEPTA have been ordering parallel hybrid buses for routes serving the entire service area, including suburban areas. |
