The reduction in stops will help, but I'm skeptical that the MBTA will do anything more than that to improve schedule adherence and address bunching issues.At least for the 71, the improvements are mainly in passenger amenities. I haven't really looked at any of the others in detail. I had my own not-entirely-feasible idea...
