Posted by (SIR) North Shore line on Tue Jun 18 09:23:17 2013 The proposed north shore busway for Staten Island details a plan for brand new Select Bus Service between St. George, Arlington and Teleport. The two Select Bus Service routes include the "S1" to Teleport running express between St George and Port Richmond. The "S2" makes all stops between St. George and Arlington.A Select Bus Service for the S40 and S90 along Richmond Terrace would be not only cheaper but have the same effect as the expansive busway plan. Two differences from the north shore busway plan would have the S90 making all limited/Select stops from Goethals Road and local riders would still have the S40. The "S1/S2" would eliminate S40 local service. What are your thoughts on this? |
