A bus route is set in stone. Reroutes must be cleared by console/supervision. Bus operators are not allowed to use their own discretion to reroute. If he's in a collision it's his ass because he went off his assigned route.MTA is a militaristic beauracracy. Those of us who work for any branch of MTA damn well know this. The bus operators of the former private got a culture shock when MTA took over the lines. Ask them! |
