I think it's most important to easily identify the intersection of where the bus will terminate. Having a landmark/place of interest included is helpful, but I'm not sure it's needed in this case.It reminds me of my childhood days when the sign reading for the S/B Bx37 (before it became Bx13) was "Bx37 Yankee Stadium" in somewhat condensed lettering while most read "Bx37 Yankee Stad". My issue with this is that it assumes the passenger know where Yankee Stadium is located. |
