Back in the 80's, a driver on the B-44 in Brooklyn got KILLED by a "customer" because he would not accept a paper transfer at a "non transfer point". Since the Metrocard style transfers came out, they can be used at any bus stop, but back in the "old days", the old paper transfers were only accepted at designated transfer points. So these pieces of shit passnegers have been around for many years, it's nothing new... |
