I just read a post on Facebook about CDTA's Orions and this was CDTA's response, "We have removed all the Orion’s except 2086 and 2087, which will be retired next week. Two areas stood out and concerned us from a longevity and maintenance perspective with the Orions. The steel frame on the Orions were starting to rot and deteriorate beyond repair. The Nova bus frame is constructed of stainless steel which doesn’t rust. The front independent suspension also proved costly and caused a great deal of maintenance. Hope that helps". |
