Assuming what WCBS-TV reported is true—“The only thing I told him was the fare is $2.25 — that’s all I said,” [MaBSTOA bus driver Nelson] Diaz told CBS 2′s Derricke Dennis—then it is seems likely that the driver did everything properly. That is, he did not attempt to confront or escalate a situation, but simply informed the passenger of the fare. Sounds like he both acted by the book and in accordance with the law. |
