It's been three years since my last trip to D.C. via the Greyhound. I was mad at myself of not going down there to get a last ride on WMATA's Flxible Metro Es with the DD50 engine and coupled with an Allison tranny. I do like the idea of intermodal. You know... have intercity buses, Amtrak, Marc and Virginia commuter trains, metro rail (red line), and metrobus all into one hub. I'll try to make a trip down there before the weather gets too chilly. |
