The 8000 [8001-8396] were delivered as diesels, 6V92TA's, some received the Series 50 conversions. 8397 was delivered as a Methanol bus & later converted to Diesel hybrid and finally converted to straight diesel before retirement.8398 was a CNG - Diesel dual fuel bus, while 8399 was straight CNG's from day 1 and eventually were sold to Command along with 8567 and actually ran under the MTA banner as 4976. 4977& 4978 before being retired in 2006. |
