I've been checking schedules on the Megabus site and Syracuse is not being eliminated from all schedules. They're dropping it from Philly. From New York, it currently is being made on Buffalo schedules, but later in September Syracuse will be a stop only on schedules that terminate in Rochester.Perhaps mid September is when the trim back service, since summer travel might be declining. They also could be fine tuning their service to actual demand. At first, I thought people here were saying that Megabus was totally eliminating Syracuse as a destination. When I checked around, I came up with that horrible double-decker crash that happened when a Megabus driver got on the wrong road trying to get to the Syracuse station. That happened almost 1 year ago. |
