They’ve seen service cut back on two local bus lines, and one line chopped entirely, forcing many subway riders there into a two-fare zone.

The Bx26 does what the Bx25 (the limited route which was eliminated) did - - run direct to/from Allerton without going to sections 2/3 (at the top of Co-Op city). And where are the facts that most riders in Co-Op city have a two fare zone? It was elmimated in 1997.

There was also a call for restoration of the QBx1 and improvements for Access-A-Ride before a fare hike planned March 2013.

The Bx23 and Q50 does the same routing as the combined QBx1 - - I do agree that more frequent and 24/7 service should be on the Bx23.

The Bx28 used to run every 5 minutes during the AM rush - - with the Bx28/38 split it reduces service with irregular start/end times on the Bx38. Swap the Bx28/38 route numbers and keep a consistent routing on the Bx28 which at night would be extended to Section 5 when the Bx38 is not running. If the ramps to Exit 12 (Baychester Ave) were a bit further up I95 when a direct Pelham Bay/Co Op City to Baychester Ave (entire length) would have been perfect - - complimenting the Bx16 or even extend along Pelham Parkway to Fordham Plaza.
