I thought the FTA lifespan for a cutaway was 6-7 years and 250-300k miles.

If any agency knows how to get the most of a cutaway, it's Ride On. Their 2001-02 El Dorados were only retired last year. They were in poor shape towards the end but they were able to make their runs on a regular basis.
