S89 - The final frontier

Posted by B49 Limited on Tue Jul 24 01:19:50 2012 edf40wrjww2msgDetailB:detailStr fiogf49gjkf0d With the MTA lately focusing on new markets, I am surprise that in Staten Island there isn't more developments with interstate routes like the S89 which gave SIers an alternative way to Manhattan and Jersey City while we at it. The question is do you think the S89 experiment is the last of any service to/from NJ? Also is the S 89 a failure to a certain degree? (operating during rush hours only and no off peak service was never introduce now or before doomsday)
