Please correct me if I'm wrong or don't understand your statement. You gave the signs to the gentleman and requested they be listed on eBay. However, you did not enter into any agreement as to minimum price, time to be listed, etc. Thus basically you gave him the freedom to do what he wanted with the signs, and he would give you a percentage of what was sold. Is that correct?Whenever I take things to sell for another individual (my eBay site is jpspcc699 and over the next few weeks will be offering many NYC area items for sale, such as books, slides, negatives, maps, including the brand new never-unfolded extremely rare 1974 Vignelli one, old/rare documents, etc.) we agree on all details of a sale. This way there are no misunderstandings with either party. I've been on eBay for about 13 years and did auctions by mail for many years before that, thus I feel I can speak with a bit of experience. My eBay rating is 100%. |
