To clarify my statement:It's like saying since nobody gets on at Fuller Road, the 90 should end at Colonie Ctr and people who want UAlbany and Crossgates should take the 1/905 to the 12. The Loudon Road part makes the bus almost as convenient as driving, since it is direct. That no one gets on probably *helps* since it makes the commute time shorter... and the stops are there for the few people going to the buildings along the way, just like the Fuller Rd. part of the 90. Almost everything I'm hearing about Phase II leads me to "bad idea"... or maybe I was spoiled by how perfect Phase I was. This, the 10 extension to 20 Mall (the route is already way too long to run reliably) and the elimination of Madison/Western Ave service to Schenectady (remember when there was talk of making this route an all day route?). |
