The 30ft's are on the 13/18 split PM runs because they've lost the Orions, in the morning those 30ft's are on the 138(2) and 520(1). The 100 requires camera buses because its a loop and runs late so the pullout sheet requires them to have 40ft's. As far as the 125 I believe its just because the length of the route straight away along Sand Creek gives them a breeze. Theres no requirements for the 125 but the interlined trips from the 1 all have Gilligs because some 1 runs require them. FYI, Albany has 88 AM runs and 36 PM; In the AM 28 require Gilligs. I'm not sure about the 905 I think if it was a reoccurence I would have seen and heard of something by now. The 712 is the 1 and 12 combined into a peak hour route. It operates Central Avenue from Downtown Greyhound to West Gate Plaza, left on Colvin Ave and turns into the 12 via Washington Avenue to Crossgates and Walmart. It also covers the old 10/12 trips into State Campus. As far as signage, your right I think it needs work big time. I'm not sure if you know but the 3 digit routes are mainly for out of towners. If you ever looked at the block box on some buses even the 905 it was say "510" not 90510. Internally, the routes are the same 224 - 24, 233 - 33, 138 - 38. The first digit is just suppose to help the public determine the type of route it is. Where I also think gets confusing such as 10, 610, 11, 611, 12, 612, 712, and 812, etc. I strongly think after this Albany County Phase 2 plan is in place the entire Route Network will be simple and better, because the Shuttles 610-612,810,812,and 737 are going to be eliminated and replaced by improved regluar bus service.

Service Restructuring:
Albany County Phase 2
NX Restructuring
Routes 80/85 Consolidation
Western-Washington BRT/ River Cooridor BRT
473 Short-turn in Saratoga
new TX Service
Elimination of 531 when 905 gets enhancements

After all that has taking place, the entire CDTA Route Network will be brand new.
