It's a beautiful building that's basically laying dormant, unless jetBlue has finally begun using it? One or more RFQs have been issued for redeveloping the building into part of hotel. So assuming the PANYNJ is going forward with that idea, then it would seem the bus terminal idea would be a non-starter. Also, the "plan" was that the public would be able to walk through the building as a means of accessing the new Terminal 5. However AFAIK it has not yet been opened to the public for that purpose. |
