Maintenance may be complicit as well because in the rush they probably told the yard dispatcher they had no one to clean off the polish.I wouldn't have let the bus go out no matter what service needs were pressing. It makes the MTA look bad and in Manhattan divisiion it wouldn't have happened. When I had the QC in 2008 I held buses if they had an unpainted replacement part or grafitti. |
