[Those MTA CNG Orion V's sitting idle really should be given to us!!] Why? How is Nassau County "entitled" to them? [I know its not MTA here anymore but they are not proving anything except leaving Nassau riders sitting in the heat for hours.] Remember that Nassau County (as client) fired the MTA (as contractor) specifically because the contractor didn't want to keep subsidizing the client. The "Nassau riders sitting in the heat for hours" should have thought about such things before the County decided to de-fund its own bus system. |
