Linden Shop / yard, was a dual purpose place for many years. They did track panels along with bus scrapping & other minor work. Buses were stored in the yard. I have photos of 1000's, 2000's, 3000's & 5000's & the 9000 [9078 ?] that caught fire out in that yard. In fact, I have a photo of now Museum fishbowl # 100 outside in the yard, without windows being stripped because they had decided to make # 1 the Museum Bus, but when they started to work on # 1, they discovered that the chassis was rotted out beyond repair and they went looking for another candidate and the shop foreman @ Linden told them that they had #100 there, it runs & all that we have done is take all the windows out. They reinstalled the windows and the next day # 100 was driven over to ENY base shop.
