Posted by mci guy on Sun Jun 17 20:19:31 2012, in response to Blitz mishap on VZ bridge back in the day-worse than the Grumman 870, posted by caine515 on Sun Jun 17 19:03:59 2012. the bus was 5567. the next day all were pulled off the road and rts buses were sent from all over the city to yukon to cover the loss. as david said ta sent them to other depots for local service. it happened in 1992. in may of 1993 orion express coaches arrived to replace them and in 1995 the blitz buses days were ended. the company that rebuilt them said they would be good for seven years and as usual ta didnt listen. |
