That is basic Trip Planner and it did not failed, it gave you the basic alternatives based on fares. If you choosen fastest route I believe it would be all Q 35.It did fail because I chose 'Minimize Travel time' with all of the remaining options at the default settings. FWIW, I also chose the street intersections in this instance because I found that using the Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College 2/5 station and the Rockaway Park-Beach 116th A/C station as origin and destination points with the default modes of 'Subway', 'Bus' and 'Rail' selected seems to always provide a 90 to 100 minute journey via the B44 bus and the Fulton Ave. IND instead of the more direct and faster Q35 bus. I've discovered other instances of a longer all-rail or bus-to-rail journey recommneded when a faster and more direct local or limited bus is available. |
