B49: The B 49 days are running if and when the B 44 SBS begins.... The B 49 is a route of need of modification and with the Franklin Shuttle shutting down in the near future again (for construction) it would make sense to combine the B 48/ B 49 during the same time the B 44 SBS is implemented.

Other considerations if the B 49 goes as you plan is to finally send the B 43 to KCH or Winthrop St (2/5)/ Parkside Av (Q) stations.

B 64/B 82: It is not who goes from Coney Island to Spring Creek, but (unfortunatly) who goes from Coney Island to Flatlands, yes Flatlands. The B 82 was the worse combo/budget cut plan route in my books. The route still follows the B 5/ B82 ridership patterns. I do agree you can get away with the B 82 terminating in Bensonhurst and rerouting the B 64 east of Bay pkwy to run via Crospey Av to CI, but is it cost worthy? No, but I still will like the B 64 return back to CI eventually.

B4:I never understood how this route would end at CI hospital where there is still a need for this route to Sheepshed Bay Station (and there is a lot of room for it to be a part time terminal). I would prefer at least MTA to extended it to the subway station in good faith.

x27/ x28: here is my problem with express buses in brooklyn... have potential if they can offer off peak fears that are at least 1/2 price. The BM1,2,3 as well as the x 27 could be justified for Saturday service and people would ride. It is sad that you can ride MetroNorth and LIRR within the city for $3.75 on weekends, while an express bus is $5.50? (Then again it is cheaper to ride an express bus peak direction (and off peak but it is only a couple of cents) than it is to use LIRR or MN!!)
