Posted by Flxible4life on Mon May 14 23:14:01 2012 Discontinued bus routes this summer:42 Newark- 18th Ave. 43 Newark- Jersey City 75 Butler- Newark- Penn Station 78 Newark- Secaucus 93 Bloomfield- Branch Brook Park Station/ Newark Light Rail Slashing of trips or day of service: 56 Elizabeth/Cranford/ Winfield - widen peak hour headways from 25/40 minutes to 60 minutes 57- eliminate first/ last round trips on weekdays 181 Union City- N.Y.C(G.W.B) Sunday service is eliminated GO28 Bloomfield- Newark- Newark Airport This service is a BRT along Bloomfield Ave. and Broad ST. *Elimination of University Heights Branch. Adjust headway to 30 minutes all day. 451 *Eliminate service between Voorhees Town Center and Lindenwold-PATCO 604 * Eliminate some peak hour service between Trenton R.R and..... 62 Newark-NWK Airport- Perth Amboy *Restructuring of Route No.62 into two separate routes; therefore allowing creation of 24/7 service between Newark- NWK Airport and Elizabeth Corridor 99 Clinton Ave. * The extension of Route No. 99 to Newark- Branch Brook Park Station/ Newark Light Rail Station.
