After 12 years they just discover this, though? Even after giving these buses extensive rehabs and even modifying the exhaust system? At least they were able to find the problem.

I'm really disappointed. In the name of safety, I guess it's good. The Orion VIs were certainly unique buses and I certainly have fond memories riding them.

At least there isn't a fleet shortage caused by removing them from service.
