Dude instead of complianing about it just be grateful that the farebox broke and you have a free ride. No. He's asking a valid question. Even if it turns out that it does make the most sense to leave the bus/farebox in revenue service for an extended period of time, at least he'll be informed of the reasons why and he'll be better off because of it. Furthermore, we should not be grateful when the farebox breaks and we get a free ride. Our ride costs money to provide and we should be paying our share. (That said, the transit agency should also be doing its part to provide us with the quality of service it has promised.) If we think we see something that is unnecessarily causing the agency to collect less revenue than it could, then there's no reason not to bring it up. |
