May have spare buses but possibly no spare operators. Has happened to me.The emphasis was always on providing timely service, not collecting fares. If it is a heavily-used line, it is a real problem for the operator as he/she has to tell each and every passenger boarding in front the box is broken. Some passengers have even tried to give me the fare..... |
