Posted by caine515 on Mon Mar 26 14:56:00 2012 Was thinking of trying to improve the B49 with the B44SBS comning. Was thinking run the B49 down Ocean Avenue to Prospect Park-Empire Blvd to Washington-have it follow the old B48 route-right on Eastern Parkway to Rogers av-left on Rogers Avenue regular.Return via Bedford Av to Eastern Parkway-left Eastern Parkway to Washington-left Washington to Empire-Right on Empire which becomes Ocean Avenue. I think this could work becuase it gives better connections to the B12,B41,B43,B35 and a new connection to the B16 and to Brooklyn Museum by bus, something that was removed when the B71 left.
