You have to consider that the number of routes isn't what matters. It's the frequency. As it is now, I don't think each individual route is excessively frequent. During rush hour, I believe you have the Q11 every 15 minutes, the Q21 every 30 minutes, the Q21 LTD (soon to be Q52) every 15 minutes, and the Q53 every 10 minutes. That comes out to a local every 10 minutes, and a limited every 6 minutes, which may seem like a lot, but it's not significantly more frequent than the other local/limited pairs in NYC. |
