Posted by Gold_12TH on Sat Mar 3 16:11:54 2012 Hitting the news van: ![]() CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A bus driver who interrupted a live press conference when she struck a news van has lost her job with the bus company. Herb Haas, the attorney for Joann Searless, tells FOX19 that Searless is no longer employed by Lakefront Lines, but he did not know if she was fired or if it was a mutual parting. Searless, 48, was cited for improper change of course and has pleaded not guilty. Searless hit the news van during a press conference on the concrete collapse at the Cincinnati Horseshoe casino. The press conference was being held in the parking lot of the Greyhound Bus terminal. After hitting the van, Searless got out of the bus and yelled at those gathered at the press conference for being in her way. ---http://www.fox19.com/story/17057299/bus-driver-who-interrupted-news-conference-no-longer-employed |
