I thought there might have been an express service to and from Flushing, but that does not appear to be part of the plan.2. Many other transit systems also advertise that when seeking to reduce service they look at actions that affect the least number of persons. That's not always the best plan. Sometimes, as a matter of providing connectivity to remote areas, it is better to keep a route with limited patronage (where reductions would eliminate all access) and cut back on the number of trips on well-used bus routes (where reductions would continue access, albeit less conveniently so). |
