If Veolia waits to the meetings then they could tell the attendees and then they could take it in and talk about it.If they release any details early, then the media molds it into "evil service cuts and changes", and ignorant riders would eat it up and regurgitate it at the meetings. Remember when Astoria riders were bitching about losing the W train when the plan all along was to send the Q there in its place? The news media either didn't research, or they purposely omitted that information from their reports. |
