You rode few times.I rode a couple times already, Most recently, yesterday afternoon rush hour. BusTime was way, way, way off when the bus arrives 7 mins late due to traffic back up at Penn Station/8 Avenue Eastbound. Poorly accurate times. Every bus stop since I board at 8 Av, there are MANY clueless passengers, still have to go to front door to dip their MetroCard yet B/O pleading to them to pay at the SBS machines first before boarding. I've seen their faces, they look angry. The boarding and de-boarding times on a Orion VII bus sucks. It takes way too long, it may take up to 2 to 3 minutes. Travel times is just awful: Jaywalking is a major problem because of bus lane or King Bloomberg's "plazas" since that lane is virtually empty, yet people think it is better to walk on the bus lane since there no vehicles except buses on that lane. NYPD park cars on bus lane is just adding to the problem. I left at Park Av and it takes 20 mins on the SRO bus ride. MTA & NYCDOT needs to fix this and all SBS lines. It is absolute failure. |
