The B44 is one of the slowest routes in the borough. It does not need twice as much service south of Avenue U.I can see SBS on the B46 but only south of Eastern Parkway. They should just keep the limited for the entire route. A crosstown route like a modified B82 where there is no competition from the subway was my first choice which I recommended back in late 2003 along with 3 door artics. They wouldn't listen to me of course because they are the planners and ave all the answers. They stated that 3 door artics were not suited structurally for NYC streets. |
