Exactly the reasons why I am opposed to the way they are implementing it . Few people understand the system well enough to understand what will happen.Just like no one except me and a few others knew how devastating the service cuts would be before they were implemented. Everyone was only concerned about the elimination of transit passes. The media gave virtually no attention to the service cuts until people started screaming afterward. The same screaming will occur after the B44SBS takes effect, not now. When people realize they can only board the local at Avenue R where the limited currently stops, then they will ask for an additional stop. Then the MTA will say it is too late. The time to request it is now. |
