Actually, the X27/X37 were the cheapest routes in the whole express system on the weekdays: The farebox recovery ratio was about 66%, which is comparable to a lot of local routes (and I'm sure that when they had the X27B, they were even cheaper to operate, but the hassle for the passengers wasn't worth it)They actually did have high ridership for an express route. |
