We can blame Nassau executive easily, but....NO EXECUTIVES, SURROUNDING NYC, WOULD NOT LIKE MTA! Westchester county Beeline accepts Metro card, but executives denied MTA operating, Rockland County executive also said not want to put MORE money for MTA. (MTA did not give anything for Rockland!) And also, MTA is contracted operator, Nassau county has a right to cancel it (and NYC also has a right to do so.) If MTA thinks seriously about this problem, why Nasssau operations contracts for "sub-contractors" just like as Able-Ride? Nassau County would like to say to MTA; "CUT YOUR OWN EXPENSE BEFORE CHARGING MORE TO US!!" It is MTA's executive fault and also union's fault because union only screamed "save our jobs!". |
